Strolling through the old city is a great way of finding yet another hole in the wall La casa de socorro is just that. You will be surprised by this traditional Caribbean cuisine seafood restaurant. The sea bass sancocho is outstanding the garlic shrimp melts in your mouth and the pastries are typically regional. The wine list is a bit short but trust me it’s not going to ruin your day. I’m very surprised that this place doesn’t take too much advantage of tourists as others. A must return most definitely.
