La vespa has a great brick pizza oven and it turns out some great pizza. Participating in the #PizzaRocksPTY contest, La Vespa offers La Dolce Vita. Fantastic multigrain crust, speckled with farro and chia seeds. The crust had a delicious slight char on the edges, but also had slightly chewy soft towards the center of the crust. Topped with mushrooms, sundried tomatoes, micro arugula, this shaved Parmesan cheese , and dressed with a hint of truffle oil. Might have been the best pizza I had in Panama!
